Safe clothes

I have no kid.
I didn't know regulations about children's clothes until reading today's paper.
There are some dangerous parts, for example, a hood, strings or fasteners.
String may hang a baby.

In Japan, there is not any rule.
In Europe, the regulation seems strict.

Sometimes I make kids' clothes. All are for life-size dolls.
I posted them on my sewing site. Some of my clothes are bad for kids.

If you make clothes for your kid, you should replace strings by Velcro etc.

How to make boxer brief for boy doll (waist 11 inches).

Briefs

Somebody asked me "Why doesn't boy doll put on underwear?"
I thought the hidden part was unimportant.

Anyway if need, make briefs for your boy doll.

Materials : stretch fabric, elastic tape, nylon thread.

Pattern :


Cutting :
Seam allowance is 1/4 inches. But the front has no allowance.


Sewing :
Overlap the dummy flies. Sew the both ends with zigzag stitch.


Sew the low.
Stitch an elastic tape to the waist.
When you sew the tape, pull and stretch it.


Fold the thigh allowance and whip it. If you like, pass a thin elastic through.
Complete.

The size of waist for these brief and boxer is 28 centimeters (11 inches). Height is unrelated.

Girls underwear. (Breast 40cm and hip 44cm.)

Shorthair
