Paper flower

Before I made tissue roses.
And someone wrote "Teach me how to make."

Tissue rose is easy to make.

Cut 16 rectangles of tissue paper.
Roll 2 corners of each sheet.


Roll a sheet and twist the bottom. The rolled corner is outside.


Wrap it softly with another.


Repeat.


Another paper flower, peony.
The paper must be thicker than tissue.

Fold 7-8 sheets of paper like an accordion.
(I used 4 sheets. More is gorgeous.)
Tie its middle with a rubber band.
Spread each sheet.





You may cut the edge zigzag.


If you spray water color, it will be more beautiful.

Mini cat

Tiny and flat felt cats. 5 centimeters. They can't stand.


They are easy to make.

Cut felt each 2 pieces without seam allowance.


Sew around with blanket stitch.


Put polyester fiberfill a little in it.


If you need, paint it with a pen for cloth.
Glue eyes of felt, and stitch beads.
Sew the whiskers.
Attach the head to the body.

The strap is ready-made goods.

You may stitch or paint the features.

Magnet cockroach is mischievous and bad taste.
I recommend a butterfly. It's rather easy.

You can choose any butterfly from web or books.

The body is made of felt and fiberfill.
Bind the neck and attach button eyes.
Its antennas are embroidery threads hardened with some glue.

As a butterfly's body is thin, small magnet is good.
If the magnet is bigger, attach it outside.

Wind wires with adhesive tape. Insert them to the body.
Attach antennas.

Towel dog

Sitting puppy. It is made of a face towel without cutting nor sewing.


Making process.
Fold 4 sides of a towel.

Roll the sides of upper parts from out to middle.


Fold again and tie the nose. Bind the nose at the middle.


Tie the neck with a rubber band. Tie the rolled part. This is a paw.


Tie the hind paws.


Bind a tail.


Stuff the belly with some filling. And it can sit.


Attach buttons at eyes and nose (sew or glue).

I hope you improve it and apply to other animals.

Arm cushion

Mini cushions of towel.


My computer table is small, so I have to put my forearms on the edge of the table. These cushions soften a touch of the edge.
Also they absorb sweat.


By the way, blue one is the rest of a towel cat.

Ragged T-shirt

This worn-out T-shirt is bound to be junked.
Its neckline is tattered. It has lost stretch. The embroidery on the breast is also fraying.



But I would put it on for the time being.

I have exchanged the trimming of the neck and sleeves for stretch lace. And put a new applique.
If dyeing it will be better.
