Towel dog

Sitting puppy. It is made of a face towel without cutting nor sewing.


Making process.
Fold 4 sides of a towel.



And fold at the middle. Bind the corner with a rubber band. It is an ear.


Spread the towel, and cross a rubber band at both ears.
Roll the sides of upper parts from out to middle.


Fold again and tie the nose. Bind the nose at the middle.


Tie the neck with a rubber band. Tie the rolled part. This is a paw.


Tie the hind paws.


Bind a tail.


Stuff the belly with some filling. And it can sit.


Attach buttons at eyes and nose (sew or glue).

I hope you improve it and apply to other animals.

Arm cushion

Mini cushions of towel.


My computer table is small, so I have to put my forearms on the edge of the table. These cushions soften a touch of the edge.
Also they absorb sweat.


By the way, blue one is the rest of a towel cat.

Ragged T-shirt

This worn-out T-shirt is bound to be junked.
Its neckline is tattered. It has lost stretch. The embroidery on the breast is also fraying.



But I would put it on for the time being.

I have exchanged the trimming of the neck and sleeves for stretch lace. And put a new applique.
If dyeing it will be better.

Lace shirt

Scarlett O'Hara made her dress of velvet curtain.
I made a shirt of cheap lace curtain for my father.

It is airy and cool, but doesn't absorb sweat.

Card case

A credit card case of paper. 10 centimetres × 7 cm.


Thick and strong paper is good. Laminated paper is better.

Cut paper and lining cloth to inside.
Draw the fold lines by scratching with an awl. Make a slit.
Fold cloth and iron it.


Fold paper and glue cloth.


Paper case is cheap and weak.
It's easy and unexpensive. You can make various cases and use always new one.

This leather case has a partition.
I used thick leather for outside, thin leather for lining.

Can cover

Lining a trash can with a plastic shopping bag is good for cleanness.
But it doesn't look beautiful.



Why not make a simple cover or belt?
Attach fastening tapes to the both sides of thick paper. Then wind it around the can.





If you make the cover with cloth, it is washable.

Fur cap

It is easy to make doll's hair with fur fabric.
Sew up the both sides of rectangle fur.
Make a cap by gathering the upper.
Attach it to the doll's head.
